Every step has a name.
For someone we lost. For someone in the fight right now. For a survivor who inspires us. This is who we walk for.
The Mini Marathon isn’t 26.2 miles — it’s 26.2 steps, taken in honor of someone. Some of us walk for a person we’ve lost. Some walk for a loved one in treatment right now. Some walk for a survivor, or for themselves. This is where we hold their names, and remember why we take the next step.
The names we carry
These are the people our community walks for. Below is the format — a photo, a name, and two sentences. Real tributes go in as families share them.
Add someone you walk for
Share a name, a photo, and two sentences, and we’ll add them here. Whether you walk in memory or in honor, they belong on this page.
Every name is a reason to walk.
You don’t run 26.2 miles — you take 26.2 steps, for someone you love. Join us at the next event and walk with us.
